Road signs are meant to manage the flow of traffic and ensure the safety of both motorists and civilians on the road. These signs basically provide guidance and signal warnings for drivers and commuters. And making sure that peace and order on the road is maintained is the main purpose of peacekeepers.

Peacekeepers are the unsung heroes of today and these hardworking individuals deserve to be recognized for their brave efforts on the job. OPEC Kalilintad Agus has acknowledged this fact and organized two projects that merit the feat of these peacekeepers.
The first ones to benefit from the OPEC Peace and Order Drive and the first project of the team are 20 barangay peacekeepers from Barangay Saray in Iligan City. The barangay received nine brand new wooden batons and each one of the peacekeepers was given a peacekeeper uniform and an M Lhuillier t-shirt.
The turnover ceremony on February 28, 2020 was headed by barangay captain James Alburo with active councilors Hon. Joel Bazarte and Hon. Josefina Rabon. Also present at the affair were OPEC Kalilintad Agus led by regional manager Esteban Bonggo Jr. with selected area managers and OPEC president Marites Melitante with officers.
The Road Signs Installation project served as the second undertaking of the team that would hopefully reduce unforeseen accidents. Regional managers and OPEC officers headed the project and organized a thorough plan that covered the estimated budget, expected labor and identification of strategic locations.
Five “welcome” signs and five “safety & friendly reminder” signs were set in place at key accident-prone areas in Misamis Oriental, Lanao del Norte and Lanao del Sur on February 26 and 27, 2020.
